Managing without managers! Interesting FT article on the company that makes Gore-Tex

I saw this article in the Financial Times today about the management style of WL Gore, the company that makes Gore-Tex.  The company operates with almost no hierarchy.  If a decision needs to be made, it is done by democratic process and agreement.
